So what’s Yo mate a Rosita Alvirez all about?
Based on the famous ballad, this movie tells the story of Rosa, a young flirt who comes to town just to see two men, Hipolito and Marcos, fight each other for her attention. Rosa plays with the emotions of both men, unaware that it can only end in tragedy for her and for them. Passion overwhelms reason at the town dance when Hipolito sees Rosa flirting with another man to get Hipolito jealous.
